Share groups

Share groups let you describe who may see and book a private offering—without rebuilding the audience on every listing. Create a group once, then attach it to offerings as they grow.

Each share group uses one audience type:

  • Club roles — members of this club who hold selected roles; or
  • Users & clubs — specific platform accounts and/or partner clubs.

Do not mix the two: other users have no roles in your club, and partner clubs define their own roles.

That is how the Hub scales from “share with three friends” to “open this station to selected clubs” without spreadsheet chaos.

TBD: Settings → Share groups table with audience chips <../images/indepth-share-groups-concept.png>

Where they appear

  • Club Settings → Share groups (requires permission to manage offering share groups).
  • My Shack Settings → Share groups when you use private audiences on your personal gear.
  • Offer create/edit flows: choose share-group visibility and pick groups.

If you do not see the tab, your role does not include managing share groups—ask a club owner or admin.

Roles vs share groups (again)

Mechanism Answers
Roles Can this member invite people, register radios, edit offerings, manage billing?
Share groups Can this person or club book this offering?

Tips

  • Name groups after purpose (Contest ops, Visiting clubs, Youth net) so offerings stay readable.
  • Prefer groups over one-off user lists when the same audience spans several radios.
  • Marketplace listings are public; share groups are for private reach.
